The assessment is the most important part of any workout plan. Think of
it as the blueprint of your training program, without it we would be
guessing on what we need to do. The assessment is based on two sections; the
movement analysis and the flexibility/foam roll test. With these two tests we
can uncover any muscular imbalances you may have before you start your training.
Through watching a client perform an overhead squat we can find any
limitations/deviations at all the major joints and then design a
corrective/flexibility workout program based on our findings. With the
foam roll tenderness test we can correlate the results with the overhead
squat test and then solidify our plan to correct the imbalances. It is vital
to your overall success to see where you are today and then to create a
plan on how to get to your goal.
We highly recommend that each and every person
watch and follow along with the assessment video and learn about their
body as much as possible before starting the program; the more you uncover
about your body the more successful you will be in training.
