Strength training is extremely important for all individuals for many
reasons; from preventing osteoporosis to building that champion
physique you have always dreamed of.
At Team America Fitness we progress our clients
from beginner strength to intermediate and eventually if they push
themselves they will end up in strength advanced. The main difference between the
three is simple, beginner strength focuses on the basics of strength training
to build a foundation, intermediate incorporates stability/balance into
the routine and strength is a combination of supersetting the both.
Whatever level of training you are in remember that it is extremely important to
think about form first and slowly progress the weights so that your
body has the time to adapt. The term progressive overload means to slowly
progress the weights each week or so, so that you are moving forward in your
